Dwyane Wade makes surprise visit to Stoneman Douglas High School

Dwyane Wade paid a visit to Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School today to meet with students as they returned to school for the first full day of classes since the tragic shooting. One of the victims, 17-year-old Joaquin Oliver, was buried in a Wade jersey - a move that left the Heat superstar emotional upon hearing about it.

Last month, 17 people were killed by a gunman at the Parkland, Fla. high school. I just wanted to come and say I'm inspired by all of you.

Photos and videos of Wade's visit were posted all over social media on Wednesday.

"Our conversation about bridging the gap between the students from Parkland, Florida and Chicago was really impressive", Wade wrote in a second tweet. "We are the voices for the people that don't get to be heard".
