Several Students Arrested For School Threats Across Southland

Long Beach police say they have responded to threats of violence at three separate high schools over the last two days, resulting in two teens being arrested.

According to Long Beach police, the threat against Millikan was discovered at 11:15 a.m. Wednesday when a school resource officer was notified by staff of a potential threat made by a 15-year-old freshman boy. Stepped up patrols are planned Thursday for schools across the city south of Los Angeles.
