Uma Thurman says Harvey Weinstein sexually attacked her

Actress Uma Thurman, who is indelibly linked to Harvey Weinstein's Miramax studio thanks to her iconic roles in "Pulp Fiction" and "Kill Bill", has broken her silence about the disgraced Hollywood mogul, accusing him of attacking her and threatening her career.

Thurman claims Weinstein also tried to expose himself at her while at his suite at the Savoy Hotel in London. "It was such a bat to the head", Thurman told the Times' Maureen Dowd.

She said he pushed her down and tried to shove himself on her and expose himself. "And he was very angry at that, I guess understandably, because he didn't feel he had tried to kill me".

"He did all kinds of unpleasant things", she told the New York Times. "But he didn't actually put his back into it and force me", she recounted. She says she screamed at him, saying he was "like an animal wriggling away, like a lizard, TMZ describes". I felt this searing pain and thought, 'Oh my God, I'm never going to walk again.' When I came back from the hospital in a neck brace with my knees damaged and a large massive egg on my head and a concussion, I wanted to see the vehicle and I was very upset. "My track. Not his track".

Leicester go away Riyad Mahrez out of squad as he `clears…
Like professionals, we have to keep our focus. "His team-mates wait for Riyad, of course". It is a situation we need to manage, but all the details will stay inside the club.

The incident followed a unusual meeting in Weinstein's Paris hotel room, when Weinstein stripped down to just a bathrobe during a discussion about a script. But his assistants pressured her to meet him alone in his room.

"Ben Brafman, Mr. Weinstein's attorney said that Harvey is stunned and saddened by what he claims to be false accusations by Uma Thurman, someone he has worked closely with for more than two decades", reads a statement from Weinstein's representative.

Dishing on the truth behind her decision to wait until she was less "angry", Thurman added, "I used the word "anger" but I was more anxious about crying, to tell you the truth..." She then walked the Times through how she questioned how safe it was for her to drive the auto Tarantino wanted her to in a particular scene, one that had her speeding down a winding, sandy road, and that he insisted she do so in spite of her discomfort.

The clip, in which Thurman's slow, ultra-controlled demeanor made her sound like she was fighting to rein in her rage, went viral. She connects her former agency, Creative Artists Agency, with Weinstein's predatory behavior.

Trump's message to Republicans on immigration: Compromise or win in 2018
Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell promised that wouldn't happen, saying, "There's no education in the second kick of a mule". "We'll either have something that's fair and equitable and good and secure, or we're going to have nothing at all", he said.

But Weinstein isn't the only man that Uma is angry with. The statement added, "Mr. Weinstein acknowledges making a pass at Ms. Thurman in England after misreading her signals in Paris. And this is the first time we have heard those details". This is the story many have been waiting for since early November, when Thurman declined to speak about the Weinstein scandal, saying, "I've been waiting to feel less angry".

In her recounting of the incident, Thurman says that the vehicle had been reconfigured from a manual transmission to an automatic, and that she had heard that it wasn't working very well. Miramax offered to show her the footage if she signed a document "releasing them of any consequences of my future pain and suffering", she says. In 2015, The Weinstein Company distributed Burnt, in which Thurman also starred, domestically.

Reps for Thurman and Tarantino did not immediately respond to EW's request for comment.

As for Tarantino, Thurman said he pressured her on the "Kill Bill" set into driving a auto that was unsafe. The auto veered off the road and crashed into a palm tree. Their working relationship shifted dramatically since the crash, with the director keeping the footage of the incident from her for 15 years, until the #MeToo movement provided her with the inspiration to seek police action on her own.
