Google Pixel 2 XL Flashing Screen Bothers Some Users

The Pixel 2 XL's panel has become pretty notorious at this point, with people complaining about a blue light shift, dead or colored pixels, non-vibrant colors, and screen burn-in. This is not in fact a new problem. Users in the thread said that updating to the Android 8.1.0 developer beta did not solve the problem. A community manager for the Pixel User Community forum has responded to the many complaints regarding this, but we're still waiting on an official statement from Google. One of the users wrote on the forum, "I am not sure why, but the Pixel 2 XL screen flashes when unlocking (fingerprint and lock button), when the screen wakes up because of notifications, when the screen dims and the phone locks, and when manually locking". It strangely works when recording video and when using the speakers during calls. I was able to replicate the issue by blowing into the bottom speaker. Yes. This one bears a relation to Bluetooth, one of the Google Pixel's old nemeses, but it's an issue that's unlikely to disrupt too many users. However, it seems quite weird that a problem in a premium flagship such as the Pixel 2 needs to be resolved by actions such as blowing in the microphone. Apparently, there is a fix that might bring the microphone back to work.

Priti Patel likely to be sacked over secret Israel meetings, reports say
Her political idol is Margaret Thatcher, who served as prime minister from 1979 to 1990 and died in 2013. In a lengthy statement, Patel admitted her mistake.

"Mine stopped working again. I'll be contacting support for an RMA today", the user's post read. In the attached video (it's too bright for me to see this in real life), I noticed there's a little sensor that comes on when the screen flashes. It is important for us to highlight the fact that Google's Pixel 2 victory over Apple's iPhone X came with their single 12 MP Shooter itself who was quite underrated and underestimated ever since we got drenched in the portrait season.
