Sony announces subtly redesigned PS VR headset

Sony has not yet shared a release date for the new CUH-ZVR2 model, but it has confirmed pricing will remain the same. The product artwork will be updated to show the integrated headphones, but you'll want to make sure the model number is CUH-ZVR2 instead of CUH-ZVR1.

In a blog article published on Monday, October 2nd, the company has announced that customers would easily distinguish the new PS VR headset from the predecessor because of the retail packaging.

Sony has revealed details of its updated PlayStation VR headset, featuring a speedier processor and headphone cable integration. Users will be able to enjoy HDR compatible PS4 content on a TV without having to disconnect the Processor Unit.
