West Nile Virus confirmed in Parma resident

Despite the impending end of summer, the health unit recommends people still take the proper precautions.

Two cases of human West Nile virus have been confirmed by Wellington-Dufferin-Guelph Public Health. Lab tests have confirmed mosquitoes collected from three pools in Waterloo region and three in Guelph have tested positive for West Nile virus.
