Bills QB Tyrod Taylor leaves game vs Ravens with concussion

The Bills fell 13-9 to the Baltimore Ravens on Saturday in their third preseason game under head coach Sean McDermott. Although he doesn't think such a drastic move is on the horizon, reporter Joe Buscaglia doesn't rule out the team eventually "making an example out of" Dareus should he refuse to get on board with McDermott's program.

"I'm not as interested in that as I am where we're going in the future", he said.

He called the decision to order Dareus to travel home on his own as being "the right thing for this football team", and also something he didn't want to deal with at that time because he was focused on preparing for the game.

"We're moving forward, that's where I stand on it, we're moving forward and looking forward to getting out here on the practice field and getting better", said McDermott.

That leaves the Bills with one healthy quarterback-rookie Nate Peterman-and another preseason game four days away.

Being a first-year head coach, McDermott was asked if he's anxious his oft message of "proving it" isn't being listened to.

Otis got free during the worst of the hurricane, and his heartbroken owner wandered the streets crying his name. Dockens' photo quickly went viral, with many saying the dog's resourcefulness was a Texan trait.

"Anytime guys are injured it is concerning", McDermott said.

The process with Dareus has been going on for years, but it's new to McDermott. Not by choice. In a surprise, TJ Yates was also diagnosed with a concussion.

Taylor left the game in the first quarter with a concussion and did not return. "Once we had our conversation, we got a clear understanding of us moving forward and how we're going to handle things".
