Two dead, eight injured in Finland stabbing attack

The stabbing in Finland comes on the heels of ISIS terrorists attack in Barcelona which left 13 people dead and 100 others injured.

Two people were killed and at least seven were hospitalized following stabbings in the Finnish city of Turku, Police have reported.

"There was only one shot fired and the aggressor was apprehended and brought to hospital", he said, confirming that a total of eight people were stabbed.

The two victims of Friday's terrorist attack were both Finnish, and among the injured were Italian and British citizens.

Police said the man in custody is likely to have acted alone, but they are not ruling out the involvement of other people.
