Man arrested by Federal Bureau of Investigation, charged with trying to blow up a bank

Jerry Drake Varnell, a 23-year-old man from Sayre, Oklahoma, was arrested early Saturday morning for attempting to detonate a vehicle bomb at the BancFirst in downtown Oklahoma City.

Varnell is charged with attempting to use explosives to destroy a building in interstate commerce.

In a progression of instant messages with the FBI's witness, Varnell "asserted to have a fortification for when the world (or United States) fallen" and showed he was endeavoring to fabricate a group, the protest states.

"I'm out for blood", the complaint quotes Varnell's texts. Soon after 12 pm on Saturday, Varnell drove the van without anyone else from a capacity unit in El Reno, around 30 miles (48 kilometers) from the bank in Oklahoma City, and dialed a number on a cell phone that he accepted would trigger the blast.

Trump orders review of Chinese trade practices
The Obstructionist Democrats have given us (or not fixed) some of the worst trade deals in World History. North Korean iron ore moves to a dock in China, which will soon stop importing such material.

Once law enforcement became aware of Varnell's alleged plot, the complaint said he met with an undercover Federal Bureau of Investigation agent on the premise that the agent, posing as "the Professor", would provide materials for a bomb.

"It is chilling to think that a sympathizer of Timothy McVeigh would want to act on hate, as a tribute to the 1995 Oklahoma City bombing, the deadliest terrorist attack on American soil before September 11", said Sen. Varnell's actions were monitored closely for months as the plot developed.

He also said he liked the 1999 flick "Fight Club", starring Brad Pitt and Ed Norton, in which the protagonist hopes to erase all debt by blowing up buildings where credit card records are stored.

The fed - referred to in court documents as "the Professor" - posed as a bomb expert who wanted to help Varnell accomplish his plans, according to the court filing.

The camp - consisting of modular tent shelters with floors, lighting and heating - aims to rectify this. But the government of Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau claims that, under the 1951 U.N.

Mr. Varnell also wrote a statement that he wanted posted on Facebook after the bombing, and sent it to the informant, the authorities said.

Varnell assembled the explosive, loaded it into the van, and prepared a statement to be posted to social after the attack expressing his disapproval of the government, the complaint says. When asked why he switched to BancFirst instead of the government building he originally planned, he said, "Well I don't wanna kill a bunch of people", the complaint said. If convicted, Yancey said, Varnell would face a minimum of five years in prison and a maximum sentence of 20 years. "The time for revolution is now".

An Oklahoma man was arrested over the weekend after plotting to detonate a 1,000-pound bomb in a vehicle parked outside a bank - a plot investigators say was modeled after the 1995 Oklahoma City bombing.
