CAUGHT ON CAMERA: Bakersfield city firefighters rescue dog from house fire

HEARTWARMING footage shows the moment hero firefighters resuscitated a "lifeless" dog using special oxygen equipment after they pulled the animal from a house blaze yesterday morning.

With his owner standing nearby, firefighters placed a "specialized animal oxygen mask" over his mouth to send a high flow of oxygen into his lungs, the Facebook post describes.

The dog was taken to a veterinary hospital where medics discovered burns on his paws and respiratory tract injuries.
