China asks India for urgent withdrawal to avoid escalation, briefs foreign envoys

India claims Sikkim border as part of its territory, while China has said that the area falls on their side as per the 1890 treaty signed between British and China.

In a stern message directed towards India, China has reportedly said that People's Liberation Army (PLA) have been waiting patiently at Doklam but will not do so for an indefinite period.
