Wayne Rooney angered by Sam Allardyce saying captain plays where he wants

Manchester United captain, Wayne Rooney, has admitted that he played badly against Watford and it is the reason manager Jose Mourinho, has left him out of the starting team.

And while Rooney revealed that Allardyce apologised on the plane home following the 1-0 win, the Manchester United captain feels like he has been hounded for the remarks ever since.

Rooney was then dropped for the win over Leicester City and Sunday's 1-1 draw with Stoke City. I'm sure it's been a tough couple of weeks for The FA, but the players have been with their clubs.

"It's important with exciting young players that they get the rewards they deserve and I think he deserves it", he continued.

AP Power Rankings: Broncos alone at No. 1
Once Sammy B and the offence catch up to their magnificent defence, the Viks will be the best all-around team in football. During their 3-game win streak the Falcons have scored 35, 45 and 48 points . "They were just better than us".

"I think Wayne can play in a number of positions and very well". You want to come here and work hard and get victories for us and for the nation. I got battered in many different ways when I felt it was actually a decent performance. "The one thing I'm excited about is he's a young English manager who wants to do well for England", added Rooney."We've seen that with the Under-21s over the last few years and it's a big opportunity for him now". "We had come back and lost three games on the run".

"If I was sitting here at 25 or 26 and we were talking about playing centre midfield or a deeper midfield role I wouldn't want to play there, of course, but now I'm at a stage where that might be better suited to me". "That's part of being involved at this level", Rooney, a veteran of 116 caps, said.

"Sam knew he made a mistake", Rooney said. He also told that people who think likewise are entitled to their opinions but he will ignore the critics and try to get back into the team.

Stones said: "If it happened in the future I would be over the moon".

Stocks say 'nevermind'; reverse recent losses as banks jump
The S&P 500 index showed 19 new 52-week highs and three new lows, while the Nasdaq recorded 54 new highs and 26 new lows. US stock index futures were slightly lower on Friday as fresh worries about Deutsche Bank's woes unsettled investors.

Rooney concluded: "He understood that quite early and unfortunately he doesn't have the chance to rectify that now".

Stones is now preparing to play under his third England manager - a man he knows well from his time with the Under-21s.

Wayne Rooney admits it was a "shame" to see Sam Allardyce sacked as England boss, but urged the squad to stick together after a tumultuous week.

Wearing the armband for England, however, presents Rooney with an opportunity to silence the wall of noise now surrounding him. Coming here, playing games and winning cups is all that any England player has wanted.
