Angela Lansbury revives 'Beauty and the Beast' role in NY

The 90-year-old actress surprised the crowd at a special screening in New York City, appearing on stage at Alice Tully Hall to sing the iconic film's theme song live.

On September 18, Angela went onstage as composer Alan Menken played the song "Beauty and the Beast", following a series of Disney songs he also played. While Belle and the Beast were there too, Lansbury was the real star of the show.

A year later, she released a second book, Letters to Liesl , which she started working on after fans praised her first memoir. Carr's contribution to " The Sound of Music " was huge - she sang the beloved song " Sixteen Going on Seventeen ".

She's absolutely beautiful.And the tears start pouring in.

In attendance for the screening were numerous original voice members, and that included Angela Lansbury who voiced Mrs. Potts. Of course, many cameras were brought out to record the moment, and it's incredible. The song won an Academy Award, Golden Globe and Grammy Award. It is a lovely moment and a classic Disney scene.
